DefiFundr is where traditional payroll meets blockchain technology. The platform gives businesses a smarter way to manage employee payments, freelancer invoices, and salary disbursements across both fiat and stable coin channels, securely, transparently, and without the usual friction.

THE CHALLENGE
Payroll is already complex. Introduce blockchain, and you risk building something powerful that almost nobody wants to use.
DefiFundr needed to serve two very different audiences at once, finance directors who need control and compliance, and freelancers who just want to get paid quickly and move on. I was tasked with building the former and the design had to make blockchain feel invisible to those who didn't need to think about it, while still giving technical users the transparency they expected.

I was tasked with building the former and the design had to make blockchain feel invisible to those who didn't need to think about it, while still giving technical users the transparency they expected.

The goal was to give businesses a single, reliable place to manage workforce payments without the complexity that typically comes with crypto-enabled platforms.
That meant delivering:
Automated payroll scheduling in both fiat (USD, Naira) and stablecoins (USDC, USDT, DAI)\
A structured multi-level approval workflow with a clear audit trail
Employee and contractor management from one dashboard
Timesheet review and approval tied directly to payment processing
Financial reporting and tax compliance built into the flow
